I’m Kimberly Summerville, LCSW | Life Coach | CEO
I was born and raised in Little Rock, AR. I moved to Texas over 20 years ago. My passion is traveling, exploring the world, one country at a time. As a young adult, I always wanted to help others understand what made them think and feel the way they do, with the goal of helping them along their journey to healing and growth. I took a step toward that dream by majoring in Psychology while attending the University of Arkansas. My dream has always been to have my own mental health practice. Therefore, I eventually pursued a master's in social work, at the university of A&M Commerce. My degree afforded me the opportunity to obtain my clinical license setting the path to accomplishing my dream of starting my practice. After spending 18 years in social services, within the Department of Family Protective services I decided to transition into the health care field. Throughout my journey, I worked with many populations in many different settings. All with one goal in mind, to help others along their journey to healing and growth.
My dream was finally accomplished, once I was blessed to start my practice KPS Counseling Services.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over 19 years of experience, I specialize in supporting teens, women, and men navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is deeply rooted in empathy, understanding, and a steadfast commitment to your well-being. With a focus on crisis intervention and trauma-informed care, I provide tailored support to individuals experiencing acute stress and trauma. I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including major life transitions, depression, burnout, workplace stress, panic attacks, family violence, childhood trauma, family and parenting struggles.
